Look Out Circular - LOC is a measure, initiated by the
investigating agency or the Court, in an ongoing investigation
or any criminal case, to curb the movement of an individual out
of the country or to detain upon arrival at an airport in the
country.
Passport-related legal problems occur when a criminal case is
pending, at which time passport issuance or re-issuance may be
restricted.
